I hate using a garlic crusher, it’s right down there with a microwave for me! Much to my children’s disgust….

Loved this post, Suzanne and I'm with you with all of it...not too many gadgets and I love my Vitamix and Magimix too. I crush my garlic with salt and leave it for a few minutes to release the flavour. My Polish stepmother used to crush her garlic with sugar.

I go everywhere with my pestle and mortar! And I am a garlic crusher, smasher and cutter- all ways. But most fabulous is crushing plump cloves with flakey sea salt to a magical paste!
